In November 2023 Crewe Town Council hosted Crewe’s first ever Christmas Market as part of our Christmas Light Switch on event. The market was well received, welcoming over 25 traders and thousands of visitors throughout the day.
Following the Christmas Light Switch on event we conducted a survey to capture the feedback and ideas of local residents and visitors to our town. One of the elements people loved the most but wanted to see more of was the Christmas Market. The market was organised completely inhouse in 2023 which will not be possible in 2024 if it is scaled up.
The 2024 Crewe Christmas Lights Switch On and Market will take place on Saturday 30th November 2024 2:00pm – 7:00pm. We are looking to work with a suitable, experienced market operator/event management company or person who can recruit at least 40 traders as well as coordinate, manage and oversee the market on the day.
