The Town Council has been made aware of the following information by United Utilities and would encourage residents in the local area to attend the event:
United Utilities are aware that there are properties on Nantwich Road in Crewe that suffer from internal flooding and as result are on the flood register. We have designed a solution that will resolve the flooding by upsizing the current sewer network in Furnival Street, Westminster Street and Walthall Street and building a water detention tank in Westminster Park.
We are holding a public exhibition on Wednesday 20th November at St Andrews Anglican Church off St Andrews Avenue between 15.00 and 19.00 and would welcome anyone interested in our proposals to meet the project team and find out more about the scheme.
