The nations favourite locomotive received a special welcome in Crewe on Tuesday 16th May.
Councillor Diane Yates, the newly elected Mayor of Crewe, greeted the Flying Scotsman as it arrived for a three day stop over at Crewe Heritage Centre.
The Mayor had the pleasure of being invited on to the footplate of the world famous steam engine to see its inner workings.
Crewe Heritage Centre will be fully open to visitors between 10am and 8pm on Wednesday 17th and Thursday 18th May.
Admission to the Crewe Heritage Centre is:-
£5 for Adults
£3 for Children
£3 for Seniors
£10 for a Family Ticket
