| 5. | To receive written applications for the office of Town Councillor and to co-opt candidates to fill the existing vacancies
The candidates each addressed the council, giving an indication of their motivation and reasons for seeking co-option. The candidates were all thanked for their time and interest in becoming a Crewe Town Councillor
RESOLVED: Under Section 1 of the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 to exclude the public and representatives of the press from the meeting during the discussion of candidate suitability on the grounds of the prejudicial and confidential nature of the discussion.
The public retired from the meeting room during the discussion and returned to the meeting room for the ballot process |

RESOLVED BY BALLOT: That Dawn Clark is co-opted to Crewe Town Council, to represent Crewe Central Ward
- Crewe East Ward
RESOLVED BY BALLOT: That Martin Edwards is co-opted to Crewe Town Council, to represent Crewe East Ward
| 6. | To appoint 2 Crewe Town Council Member Representatives to the Crewe Town Board Sports Provision and Open Spaces Forum |
| RESOLVED: That Cllrs Dunlop and Coiley are appointed as representatives of Crewe Town Council to the Crewe Town Board Sports Provision and Open Spaces Forum | |
| 7. | To note the date of the next meeting of Crewe Town Council as Tuesday 7th December 2021 at 7pm. Location and meeting format to be confirmed subject to Covid-19 restrictions and considerations at that time. |
