Councillor Ben Wye has led the first of two Heritage Walks around Crewe Town Centre to explore Crewe’s heritage and some of the fascinating stories of our town. The 2 hour walk included visits to:

▪️ Lyceum
▪️ Gaffers’ Row
▪️ the Technical College on Hightown
▪️ the Railway Cottages
▪️ Market Street
▪️ and Christ Church.

Attendees were able to examine historical photographs and maps along the way.

The Walks have been arranged as part of our 2022 Heritage Open Day activities.
