Today A Vision for Crewe – Crewe’s Community Plan launched a local initiative in conjunction with Cheshire Tour Of Britain to decorate and showcase Crewe when Stage 3 of The Tour Of Britain visits on Tuesday 6th September.
We are therefore putting out a call to action to all our wonderful community partners and businesses in Crewe. We have a large number of otherwise unusable bikes which need decorating, a spark of creativity and generally jazzing up which will then go on to line the route down Nantwich Road and Crewe Green.
If you are a group, play scheme, business, organisation or service who can take a bike, please get in contact with Hannah by email [email protected] or call 07947 180150.
Bikes are completely FREE of charge, you just simply need to supply your own materials and the all important spark of creativity.
Bikes need to be collected from A Vision for Crewe and returned before 22nd August so they can be installed over the Bank Holiday weekend.
The first bikes were delivered to Barnie’s Community Hub this morning so who will be next!
