The Town Council is inviting retailers in the town centre to choose one of the teams in the 2014 World Cup and to use the team/national colours to brighten up the town centre in the lead up to the World Cup Final on July 13th. Retailers are asked to register a ‘claim’ for one of the teams by contacting the Town Clerk ([email protected]). The Town Council will also be holding an international festival on the 13th July (12 to 4pm). This will coincide with the culmination of the World Cup and the national themes of the football are designed to chime with the international theme of the festival.
