Update: 7th May 2020
Further to the Government’s statement recommending that everyone should avoid unnecessary contact, close social proximity or travel we feel the best thing is to postpone this year’s Traction event until July 2021.
It was scheduled for 4th July 2020, but with the lockdown and ban on public gatherings, it was clear we weren’t going to be able to run this as planned.
However, we have been successful in applying for an Arts Council Emergency Funding grant via Spare Parts, and this will allow some online and offline participation to take place around 4th July this year, so there will still be something fun to get involved with.
The grant award was announced on 6th May, so now we’ll be planning what the next steps are. We’ll be making more announcements about that in due course.
