The Mayor and Deputy Mayor leads the Towns tribute to commemorate the 70th anniversary of D-Day, 6th June 1944.
Councillor Minshall, Mayor of Crewe, said 'We lay this wreath today in memory of the brave and determined men who, 70 years ago today, landed on the beaches of Normandy. The names - Gold, Juno, Sword, Utah and Omaha resonate in our history and the huge allied cemeteries behind those beaches, remind us of their sacrifice. We are forever grateful and thankful to let.'
