Remembrance Sunday

Councillor Marilyn Houston, Mayor of Crewe, invites local residents to join her and Crewe Town Council at the Annual Remembrance Day Service and Parade to show our collective respect as a community to all those who gave their tomorrow for our today.

The Service will take place on Sunday 13th November starting with a Parade at 10.30am from underneath the old Library on Prince Albert Street leading through Crewe Town Centre on to Memorial Square.

At 11am, the two minutes silence will be observed giving guests, residents and local community representatives the opportunity to make their own personal silent tribute to all who died in service for their country.

Crewe Town Council is appealing to anyone wishing to lay a wreath to contact them directly before Friday 11th November to ensure they are included on the list of organisations who will be called on Remembrance Sunday. This can be done by contacting the Mayor’s Office either by email [email protected] or by calling 01270 756975.
