Programme for second year of Crewe’s Pop Up Parks project announced

Crewe Town Council is leading a three year partnership with Everybody Health and Leisure to develop and deliver a series of free health and wellbeing activities within Crewe parks as part of a “Pop Up in the Parks” project.

The aim of the project is to use the green spaces in our local parks to hold free outdoor wellbeing and fitness activities for residents that are accessible for everyone and which help to improve physical and mental wellbeing and social interaction.

During 2023, the Pop Up Parks delivered 54 sessions in 5 locations, with 344 attendees coming along to the classes.

Following the successful completion of the first year of activities, the schedule for 2024 has now been announced. The classes will be repeated each week from Monday 1st July until Friday 27th September and are delivered by experienced coaches with all required safeguarding checks in place.

The classes will be held in four of the six ward areas in Crewe:
