Crewe’s FREE family-friendly live music festival returned to Queens Park on Saturday 21st June, with a fantastic line up of local bands! Crewe Town Council, with the help and support of the Friends of Queens Park, brought Picnic in the Park back to Crewe for the fourth time.
The event was host to energetic live performances from local talent including Crewe Brass, Shakermaker, Acrylic, Vavoom and Teal, who rocked the park and got the crowd up and dancing in the sunshine. Around 7,000 people attended the festival during the day.
New for the event this year was a FREE Park and Ride Shuttle Bus which operated between Crewe Bus Station/Multi-Storey Car Park on Delamere Street and the main entrance to Queens Park and was well-used throughout the day.
Feedback on the Picnic in the Park event is welcomed and can be submitted here.
A Crewe Town Council spokesperson commented:
“We are delighted to have been able to deliver a successful Picnic in the Park event in 2025. It’s been such a pleasure to work with such a brilliant community of volunteers to bring this event to Queens Park once again. Not only does this event give a platform to some incredible local talent, it also showcases one of Crewe’s most valuable assets and tons of community spirit!”
