Crewe Town Mayor, Councillor Dawn Clark, hosted the 2025 Civic Service at St Stephen’s Methodist Church on Gainsborough Road in Crewe last Sunday.
The service was led by Reverend Sarah Butcher and featured hymns, prayers, readings and performances from Pebble Brook School Choir and the Wistaston Singers. The theme of the service was “The Good Samaritan”.
The Civic Service was attended by the church congregation and invited members of the local community, as well as the Deputy Mayor of Crewe, the Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Cheshire, the Mayors of Cheshire East, Congleton and Sandbach and the Deputy Lord Mayor of Cheshire West and Chester.
