Latest Crewe Town Council Community Grants – fourteen awards made!

Crewe Town Council has announced the latest successful submissions from the Community Grant Scheme. The Council allocates funding and grants up to £2,500 to community organisations for projects and activities that directly benefit the community within the Crewe Town Boundary.

An impressive fourteen grants were approved from the latest round of applications. The grants will be awarded to a range of community groups, including allotments, choirs, activity clubs and support organisations. The awards will go towards regeneration, events for Crewe, sport development, combating social isolation, improving facilities and tailored support for families with young children and lone parents.

The Crewe Town Council Community Grant Scheme is open for applications throughout the year, with quarterly submission deadlines for applications to be considered by the Community Plan committee.

The next deadline for applications is Sunday 8th May 2022 at midnight.

Project name: Butterfly Group  –   Community Play Project

Project aims: to help new families overcome isolation and bring them together with a regular parent and toddler play group.

 

Liberty Dance Troupe

Amount awarded: £2,500

Project name: Liberty Dance Troupe (season 2022)

Project aims: to subsidise costs to parents that need transport to competitions each week and to help pay towards costumes for the new season.
