Heritage Development Project Officer

£27,905 – £30,507 (SCP 24 – 27) – Fixed Term 2 Year Contract

Crewe Town Council is embarking on a new regeneration-led project to promote, conserve and protect Crewe’s heritage. Initially the project is part funded by the Architectural Heritage Fund for 2 years to progress work to secure the Christ Church Project as well as look at other opportunities in the town for heritage conservation and regeneration.

We are seeking a proactive and capable project officer with a drive for community involvement in sustainable heritage projects. Additionally the ability to monitor project outputs, report to funders and council and work closely with a wide range of stakeholders will help in the successful delivery of the role. You should have some project delivery experience and ideally have a strong understanding of heritage buildings, assets and community engagement.

The role is full-time, based in Crewe town centre, with occasional evening and weekend working.
