PS/24/3/1 To receive apologies for absence
  Apologies were received from: Cllr Bratherton, Cllr Pratt, Cllr Chapman and Cllr Coiley
PS/24/3/2    To note declarations of Members’ interests.
  No declarations were received.
PS/24/3/3 To confirm and sign the minutes of the Public Services Committee meeting held on the  3rd September 2024 .
  Resolved: The minutes are accepted as a true record of the meeting.
PS/24/3/4 Public Participation
  A period not exceeding 15 minutes for members of the public to ask questions or submit comments in relation to the published agenda items.

No questions were received.

PS/24/3/5 To note the year-to-date financial position for the Public Services Committee.
Noted: The year – to date financial position.
PS/24/3/6 To receive an update on progress and consider matters related to the Business Delivery Plan for 2024/25.
Noted: The report.

Resolved: To support the installation of a mobile camera with preference to Samuel Street in light of the pending improvements.

PS/24/3/7 To consider matters related to regeneration projects and public realm improvements.
I.                      Resolved:

II.                      i. To approve the allocation of Regeneration Projects budget to develop  re – usable infrastructure and a suspended display over Hill Street.

III.                      ii. To approve allocation of up to £8000 from EMR Hoardings and Frontages to the design and installation of a place – based artwork to enhance the sense of arrival at Crewe Bus Station

PS/24/3/8 To consider matters related to Brookhouse Drive (Pebble Brook) Park improvements and Nature Towns and Cities funding.
  i.                  Resolved:

ii.                 i. To proceed with the plans, following consultation with ward members.

iii.               ii. Any decisions to be delegated to the chair and public services officer to avoid delay and any further cost increases.

PS/24/3/9 To consider the 2025/26 draft Public Services Committee budget.
  Resolved: That the budget is recommended to Finance and Governance Committee, with addition of a zero budget line in anticipation of future additional services.
PS/24/3/10 To note the proposed date of the next meeting: Tuesday 28th January 2025.
  The meeting finished at 7.03 pm
