  RESOLVED:  That the minutes are approved as a true record of the meeting

25/2180/FUL 198 Ruskin Road, Crewe, Cheshire East, CW2 7JX Change of use from dwellinghouse (C3) to (C2) for a children’s residential home
 
 

 

 

The committee had no objections in principle, but identified that the proposal will increase pressures for on-street parking in the area due to visiting support and social care staff.

25/2143/FUL Barclays, 38 Market Street, Crewe, Cheshire East, CW1 2ET Proposed modification of HVAC plant (associated with a wider branch refurb) on the flat roofing area positioned to the branch rear. Installation of edge protection to the exposed lower flat roof perimeter to the branch rear is also proposed.

RESOLVED: That the committee objects to the proposals on the following grounds:

i.                    The committee’s previous objections are sustained and remain concerns

ii.                   The development has been built to some extent and demonstrates overdevelopment of the site.

iii.                 The development has an adverse effect on the adjacent neighbour in terms of loss of amenity due to the crowding effect and proximity to the boundary.

25/1974/FUL 67 Earle Street, Crewe, Cheshire East, CW1 2AS Two storey rear extension plus change of use, convenience shop at ground floor with 2 No. residential units above.

RESOLVED: That the committee objects to the proposals on the following grounds:

i.                    The plans do not provide sustainable evidence of vehicular access, such as guaranteed calculated turning and access arc, particularly in consideration lack of overall control of the access pathway and the potential impact on access that planning application 24/2864N (or similar such application) will have on vehicular access.

ii.                   Members expressed concern relating to the impact of deliveries on traffic in the area due to potential obstructions being created on that part of Earle Street.

25/2170/ADV Lloyds Bank, 13 Victoria Street, Crewe, Cheshire East, CW1 2JQ Proposal to replace the External ATM with a new MFD ATM including a new surrounding collar.
