EC/24/4/3. | To confirm and sign the minutes of the Marketing and Events Committee meeting held on 7th October 2024.
RESOLVED: That the minutes are approved as a true record of the meeting |

EC/24/3/9. | Draft Events and Culture Business Delivery Plan.
The draft committee business delivery plan was noted, to be considered for recommendation at the March meeting of this committee. |
EC/24/3/10. | It is recommended that Committee considers a resolution under Section 1 of the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 to exclude the public and representatives of the press from the meeting during the consideration of Item 11 on the grounds that matters contain sensitive information and by reason of the confidential nature of the business being transacted.

EC/24/3/11. | To receive an update regarding the delivery of a Crewe Day Festival event.
RESOLVED: i. Members received an update on the procurement process and discussed at length the reasons we have been unable to secure a culture events organisation to deliver the event. ii. Members agreed that the event should be delivered by the events and culture manager but the number of days of deliver should be considered due to concerns over capacity. iii. Due to the change in delivery model, members requested a special meeting to discuss plans for Crewe Day in further detail which will take place at 6:00pm on Monday 17th February 2025. |
