Crewe Town Council is pleased to report on its activities during the year 2014/2015. The Annual Report aims to help keep residents informed of what the Council is doing and what the Council plans to do in the future. Copies of the report has been circulated to all households within the Town boundary (the Parish of Crewe). As residents it is your money that the Council spends, therefore it is important that we let you know how that money is being used.
As a relatively new Council, we are still growing and developing plans and ideas. The development of ‘A Vision for Crewe – Crewe’s Community Plan’ last year and its subsequent implementation, has marked a very significant milestone. The Council seeks to have greater involvement from residents, organisations, businesses and groups with the Community Plan. More information about the Community Plan can be found here. After all, it is your plan! If you would like to get involved, please email firstname.lastname@example.org in order for our Community Engagement Officer can respond to your comments and explain how you can get involved.
We hope residents will take the time to read the document and we welcome your feedback on the Annual Report. Feedback so far has focussed on the future of the Flag Lane Pool, the transfer of the Market and the ideas to provide a Museum in the town. It is useful to consult residents in this way and feedback does help Council to understand what residents see as priorities for Crewe. An electronic copy of the Annual Report can be found here.
