For the second year in a row, the Amazed by Science Festival is coming to Crewe.
Jodrell Bank and Marketing Cheshire has teamed up with Crewe Town Council, the Lyceum Theatre and the Library to create what is promised to be a fun packed day.
Thursday 28th May will see the various venues come together to celebrate the wonders of science, technology, engineering and maths to inspire and engage children of all ages.
Highlights will include the explosive sounds of the Air Products Show, Tony Hawks Circuit Boards by HEXBUGS giant Skatepark and the mad scientists Noisy Toys conducting weird and wonderful tests and experiments.
Councillor Pam Minshall, Mayor of Crewe, said ‘We are thrilled to be working with so many businesses to create a fantastic half term event for children. Science, technology, engineering and maths has long been linked to all the industries in Crewe. Let’s hope events such as this will inspire and encourage the next generation of scientists, engineers and mathematicians.’
All activities in Crewe are free and will be held from 10am onwards. The Crewe events are complimented by a wide range of other Amazed by Science Events planned across Cheshire and at Jodrell Bank.
