‘Come on Crewe if you can knit we would love to receive a poppy from you any size any pattern, you can drop them off to us any Friday morning at Union Street Baptist Church or any time at the Crewe Town Council offices at St Pauls, High Town please mark your package with the following words Poppy Explosion for the attention of Crewe and Nantwich Senior Forum. Also watch out for the workshops soon to be arranged we will post the information here on the website. All the work to be gathered in to make one gorgeous display on the Municipal Square in time for the next Remembrance Sunday commemoration.’
