Deputy Leader of the Town Council Cllr Benn Minshall climbed the clock tower today in support of England’s bid for the Euro Championships. Once at the top Benn raised the Cross of St George in the hope it would send out a signal of support from the people of Crewe to the England team. Benn said ‘It was the least i could do and i hope England go all the way and create a great buzz here in Crewe and around the country as a whole’
