Civic Awards 2017

Councillor Marilyn Houston, the Mayor of Crewe, on behalf of Crewe Town Council invites local residents to nominate individuals, groups and organisations whom they feel have made a positive difference to the Town of Crewe under the following four categories:-

Mayor’s Civic Award

An individual or organisation who has made an outstanding contribution for the benefit of the Crewe community and who has clearly gone ‘above and  beyond’ what would ordinarily be expected of them

Sponsored by Crewe Town Council

Arts, Culture and Sport Award

An individual, group or organisation who has demonstrated outstanding achievement in the arts, culture or sport

Sponsored by Everybody Sport and Recreation

Youth Award

An individual under 21, group or organisation focussed on working with young people, who has brought benefit to the Crewe community

Sponsored by Crewe Pledge

Business Award

An individual or organisation who has demonstrated initiative and enterprise in business in the Town of Crewe

Sponsored by The Glasheen Academy

Nominations need to be no more than 200 words in length and submitted in writing to Crewe Town Council before 12pm on Sunday 12th March 2017

The Civic Awards will be presented by the Mayor of Crewe on the evening of Friday 24th March in the Academy Restaurant, South Cheshire College

Tickets to the Civic Awards Dinner are £20 each and can be purchased by contacting the Mayors Office at Crewe Town Council on [email protected] or by calling 01270 756975 Opt: 1.  Tickets are being sold in aid of the Mayors Charities – Cancer Research UK and Crewe Alex Ladies Football Club.
