Local residents and civic dignatories from around Cheshire East brave the winter temperatures to join Councillor Minshall for Community Carol Service on Memorial Square. The Carol Service was led by the Mayor’s Chaplain, Reverend Steve Clapham, with Carols were led by Crewe Male Voice Choir.

The Mayor was delighted to join students from Petty Pool when they completed their four week course with Christian Concern on West Street. Following lunch, Councillor Minshall received a guided tour around the building from students and presented them with their Course certificates.

Councillor Minshall visited Tesco Community Champion, Hayley Bicker, whilst she undertook a fundraising challenge. Hayley lived in a boxed a clear box in Tesco Crewe for 100 hours to raise funds for Caudwell Children and awareness of autism.
