The Mayor and fellow Councillors were among 250 people to support the Cheshire Academy of Integrated Sports and Arts when they lit the Flame of Hope to mark the departure of the Great British Rhythmic Gymnastics Team before they head to the Special Olympics in Los Angeles. The Squad of eight girls, six from Crewe, paraded the Special Olympic Flag around the Academy Grounds and were treated to a exclusive performance of ‘Together we are strong’ by Crewe Male Voice Choir.
