Lots of FREE entertainment at the Crewe Steampunk Convivial during the Saturday, Sunday, & Monday of the late May Bank Holiday. This includes Ichabod Steam and his Animatronic Band and a new Steampunk Musical being unveiled in CreweGreg Chapman, Rivers & Kidd, Gurdybird, Moment In Time, Victorian Blacksmith Forgework Demonstrations, Paul Snook’s Open Mic Sessions, The Steampunk Market, The Retro Clones, Scarlet Butterfly (Monday), Steam Traction Engines, and the impressive but unpredictable “Crewe Steampunk All Stars”….. ┬áTickets for the evening concerts are available here.

We are also very pleased indeed to be able to tell you that The Time Travelling Tea Tent will once again materialise out of whatever place and dimension and century they were in in order to be with us in Crewe at the Crewe Steampunk Convivial. If you need to know anything about the noble art of drinking tea, these people are the experts. They know nearly as much about drinking tea as they do about drinking gin!

The Steampunk Market is filling up with lots of interesting stalls, including many new faces as well as traders returning to Crewe from last May and November. You can find an amazing array of costume and clothing, vintage and retro, accessories, hats plain and hats decorated, jewellery, pocket watches, walking canes, parasols, lighting and decorative items for your home, hand-crafted leather satchels, handbags, purses with wonderful and original decoration, goggles and glasses, cravats and corsets. You can have your portrait taken against a green screen and then choose from a myriad of amazing backgrounds, and you can get a master-class in painting a plastic toy to transform it into a thing of wonder. The Steampunk Market is at the Lifestyle Centre and is open from 10am each day.
